The Vollrath 40862 (model RDE8236) refrigerated display case will provide bakeries, delis, and other restaurants with a triple-level display. Food items can be placed on the two floating shelves, which are each 12 inches deep, or on the floor shelf, which is 13 inches deep. This model is designed with a cubed glass appearance that gives it a modern appeal, and the triple-glazed front glass has additional insulation and strength. Products held inside are illuminated by two lighting strips and kept at the selected temperature within a 36 to 46 degree Fahrenheit range. To prevent condensation and ensure reliable operation, this refrigerated display case offers a defrost mode and heated glass. It also includes dual fans to distribute air evenly throughout the cabinet.

The Vollrath 40862 is a freestanding countertop unit with a 1?4-horsepower motor. It includes a NEMA 5-15 plug and 6-foot cord for easy installation. It must be located at least 4 inches away from nearby equipment and walls, and can only be placed near noncombustible materials. This case should be used to display chilled items during business hours, but is not meant for overnight storage.
